Traffic
The traffic in SF bay area is pretty crazy... Especially more during the peak evening hour commute.
Blood pressures are soaring to make the appointments on time since rescheduling is an another headache.
This scenario is similar to an obstacle being thrown into an ant line.Ever wondered how well they manage to maintain decorum until something comes their way? Running helter skelter, they fend for cover. Similarly, every driver on the street here is trying to get into shopping complexes/colleges/gas stations on the right (free),saving those precious 2 minutes of waiting time.

On one such occasion, seeing a long line on the single lane left turn, succumbing to the peer pressure after watching people quit and move to the right,I ditched the original left lane too and went onto the right .Entered a gas
station on the behest of taking a left later. Turns out, when I reached there, the new left lane was crazier than my original path. There lay a multitude of cars , with no one willing to part their coveted spot to accommodate me! Infact, I had to wait for 5 long minutes to make sure I didn't block the oncoming traffic in my quest to join the lane at a decent angle (Here, 5 mins of delay results in 15 mins of late arrival...due to the exponential increase in the new traffic volume added to the road). Indeed, I had missed my original ETA by light years and goes without saying
the appointment too!
